Too Fun...Mixed Media Sculpture/Assemblages!

Welcome to the very fun world of MyPeeps and Boogie Babies!  Full of encouragement, inspiration, whimsy, and just plain crazy fun; these 'Peeps' (or people) are here to remind you what it's like to smile and have a generally goooood time!  They are meant to bring you joy, get you going, help you along, and keep you keepin' on.  Each one is designed, built, and painted by hand, by me.  They are signed and dated (as is all of my work).  Each of them are named for their purpose and come with a story about their mission along with some fun details about their composition.

Boogie Babies are sort of the offspring of MyPeeps and have a single mission and that is to get you celebrating and dancing your way through this life!  They are smaller in size although there is sometimes a larger one hiding out in the studio from time to time.

In short these creations have an extremely high fun content and a very important message as well.  I hope you enjoy!

Mr. Go-Getter is born of inspiration.  His message: Carpe Diem! …Sometimes we need a little encouragement along the road to success.  He is loaded with motivation, comes equipped with kindling sticks to help light a fire under you; and of course he holds the key to success in his hand!

Soul Mates

Soul Mates were designed to really celebrate true love, and what it means to be in complete adoration of one another… It is an immeasurable gift; the gift of two souls found in one another… Each of their hearts popping out of their chests, he holds the keys to her heart, and she holds true love in her hands.  Soul Mates are a beautiful celebration of two hearts becoming one.

 Miss Understood

 Miss Understood represents the mixed feelings we often have about ourselves and who we are in this world… Even though it is easy to feel and be ‘Miss Understood’, it is vital to our purpose and journey in life that we embrace and celebrate the truly beautiful person that God made each of us to be.  It is only through the embracing of that truth that we can open ourselves to our complete potential and unlimited possibilities!

Happ E. Ness

 Happiness is not the destination.  It’s the journey.  If we’re traveling happy we are bound to share it!  Happ E. Ness is here to remind us to not only keep the joy in our hearts, but to pass it on to others as well.  Share the joy!  It’s contagious!  Armed with crayons in his hand he is ready to remind you to color your world… He’s colorful, fun, and equipped with lots of good advice.  He stands ready to put a little cheer in your life!

Meta Morphosis

 Meta Morphosis was created to remind us that if we step out in faith and embrace our future with love and trust, we will indeed soar… She holds a butterfly close to her heart to help us remember to celebrate the beauty of change and the wings of flight that it brings… The short of it: We are constantly in the state of becoming.  That is what makes us beautiful.  We must trust God with the changes.  That is what gives us wings.

Hope E. Ternal

 Hope E. Ternal was created to inspire us to trust God and hold onto hope with everything we’ve got, so that we may see the other side of any ‘mountain’ we may face… She holds one rope with a knot at the end of it to remind us that should we get to the end of our rope simply tie a knot in it and hang on.  Packed full of encouraging words, never give up is her motto!

 Mr. Goodtimes is an inspiration to us all.  He was created to remind us that there is no time like the present to celebrate each other, our loves… our lives!  “The time to be happy is now.  The place to be happy is here.”… He even comes with a built in clock to keep track of all the hours of good times to come!

Meet Boogie Baby.  She is here to remind you that you’ve gotta dance your way through this life!  Find the joy in every day.  Don’t be afraid to let loose, celebrate, jump for joy, free yourself, rock out, sing loud, laugh louder, and most importantly, boogie down!  Go ahead and embrace the fun, because when it comes to life you only have one!  So what are you waiting for?  Put on your dancin’ shoes and dance baby, dance!
